Premier, JobWave celebrate 30,000th placement

WCG, one of Canada's top human resources companies, has reached a milestone that marks it as the clear leader in its field across the country. In partnership with the BC Government, WCG International HR Solutions of Victoria has helped 30,000 BC Assistance clients return to the workforce through its JobWave program.

Ian Ferguson, WCG President and CEO delivered the joint announcement January 26, 2005 with Premier Gordon Campbell and Human Resources Minister Susan Brice at the WCG Call Centre, where over 250,000 calls are made every year to find jobs.

WCG works with clients referred by the Human Resources Ministry at 11 JobWave offices across the province, and through 35 community agencies.

30,000 and counting! To honour this achievement, The Premier Gordon Campbell spoke and presented a plaque to Stephen Venn, JobWave's 30,000th placement.
