Brigitte Ballantyne’s human resources experience spans from curriculum development to active facilitation of life skills and personal and group counselling. Brigitte’s mission is to create win-win strategies by continually evaluating, modifying and implementing best-in-class service delivery models within the employment sector to ensure optimum outcomes for all stakeholders.

After joining WCG International in 2000 as a Placement Coordinator in Kelowna, Brigitte quickly took on the role of JobWave Centre Manager. Her enthusiasm, leadership and outcome-driven personality led her to her current position.

As Regional Executive Director for the Interior region of British Columbia, ensuring the best in customer service is her number one focus as she meets partners and stakeholders from the Okanagan to the Cariboo, Kootenay, Similkameen and Thompson regional districts.

Brigitte is a life learner and believes in the continual process of mind and skill development. She is Myers Briggs Type Indicator Qualified, has her Provincial Instructor Diploma and has completed numerous certificate courses aimed at increasing supports to individuals as they move forward on their personal and professional paths.

Brigitte continues to be involved in curriculum development for WCG. She is the Project Manager for WCG U – a series of workshops designed to educate new employees about the spirit, culture and best practices of the company.
