Darlene Bailey

Darlene Bailey, BA, CPC, CHRP, is the recipient of the 2002 Women of Distinction Award for Leadership in the Workplace. She brings to WCG a strong commitment to team management. This experienced human resources professional leads WCG's team of 176 employees as they strive to provide "better than best" service to clients and maximize their professional potential. Darlene's leadership, vision and energy are key to the phenomenal success of WCG.
A Leader in Human Resources
During the past two decades, Darlene has become one of British Columbia's leading HR and employment professionals. With an academic background that includes a degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria, Darlene spent 23 years in the personnel agency business in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Darlene was the Manager of a national personnel company and went on to operate her own successful agency. In Victoria, she managed a successful Employment Insurance training and re-employment pilot program for Stellar Systems. Darlene joined WCG International HR Solutions as a Career Coach in 1996, and became a partner in 2001.
Darlene maintains an active community role. She is Past Vice Chair of the Victoria READ Society, Past Chair of the 2005 Women of Distinction Awards, Past Chair of the Canadian Cancer Society (Vancouver Island), former board member of the YM/YWCA, Past Director of the Human Resources Management Association Advisory Board (HRMA - Vancouver Island), and Past Chair of the 2006 HRMA Conference.
