Manager, Human Resources
Krista English joined WCG in June 2008 as the Manager of Human Resources. She has nine years of experience managing and directing HR operations and she received her CHRP designation in 2005. Complimenting her HR generalist background, Krista’s strengths are maximizing HR business efficiencies, project management, conflict resolution and technology implementations.
Prior to joining the WCG team, Krista directed HR operations for two large five star hotels - the Hotel Saskatchewan in Regina, SK and the Hotel Grand Pacific in Victoria. She also provided HR services to Victoria-based Island Hearing as they underwent rapid national growth following an international acquisition. To balance her active HR life, Krista creates stained glass windows in her home-based studio, enjoys road trips, and practises yoga.
