Tania Bennett
Vice President, JobWave Operations
Tania Bennett has been with WCG since 2000 and brings to her position over 15 years of experience as a leader and practitioner in the realm of employment. She is proud to provide leadership to one of BC’s most well-known and successful employment programs, JobWave. She embraces a “do what it takes” approach to ensure excellence in service and outcomes for all stakeholders – participants, government, community agencies and employers.
Tania has been a member of several winning RFP teams for WCG and has actively been involved in the implementation of core WCG programs in BC and Ontario. In addition, Tania was Project Manager of the Employer Handbook on Recruiting and Retaining Persons with Disabilities in BC for the Minister's Council on Employment for Persons with Disabilities.
Prior to coming to WCG, Tania led the Victoria Employment Agency Network – a career development networking and professional development association. She also spearheaded the development of employer forums to educate career practitioners on hiring needs.
Tania has a Bachelor of Arts (Hon.) in Political Science from the University of Victoria and a Diploma in Journalism. As an experienced presenter, Tania has spoken at the National Consultation on Career Development (NATCON) and is a certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator practitioner.
